Caring for your Creations
To ensure your Creations last for a lifetime, store them with care. Lay them flat and straightened or hang them on a jewelry stand in a cool, dry and shaded place. Do not store them in a pile, purse or bag. Also, please avoid getting them wet. (That means swimming or hopping in the sauna with them on is not a good idea!)
"All Our Creations are woven with the intention to connect you to your Spirit.
My prayer is that these Creations remind you to connect to and honor what is sacred to you."
My name is Chauntelle Atcheynum and I am originally from Sweetgrass First Nation in Saskatchewan on the Treaty No. 6 Territory.
I am of Nehiyaw, Plains Cree, ancestry and I give thanks to my ancestors whose traditions have been passed down through the generations and have guided my path.
Mamawi Creations was birthed by a community who came together to support me in a time of healing. Mamawi in my language, Nehiyawewin, means ‘all together’ and I want to acknowledge that I could not have arrived here without the support of this community.
Mamawi Creations is founded upon a vision of Healing and Interconnectedness. It is my invitation for us to remember that we are all connected by a sacred thread weaving us into the web of Creation. Through this rememberance, may we all heal and return to wholeness.
